Greg's Story

From the boardroom to the jungle, and back.

From humble beginnings. Born into modest means in American Fork, Utah, Greg became a father at seventeen, two days before his high school graduation. He lost his father young, and found himself maneuvering a cement pump truck near high-voltage lines.

Self-help classics pulled him into programming, then mortgages, then his own internet marketing companies. He went from an entry-level programmer to an eight-figure income in a few short years.

The search begins

Is this my life now? My answer: no.

Then he realized money was not everything. Financial success brought an existential crisis instead of fulfillment. So he did what a systems architect does: he stripped life down to its framework, put it in a new environment, and began rebuilding.

In 2017 he sold the Ferrari, the house, and everything else he owned to live in jungles and villages around the world, studying shamanism and the original traditions.

Stripped down to the framework

A modern-day Indiana Jones. For years he lived as a nomad, learning from Mayans and monks, from the jungles of Mexico to the hidden temples of Italy. An indigenous grandmother set him a three-year commitment: no substances, no intimacy, untouched hair. He meditated up to fourteen hours a day, immersed in neuroscience, breath-work, and the philosophies of east and west.
